Wow... that second picture was great! It's totally something I wish I would have taken... but with the shot back a little bit further. Speaking of which (from what I know of you, you might be the right person to ask) I'm trying to get a digital camera (the best I can get) what would you suggest??
First thing I'd have to know is your budget. I have a Nikon D70s, and it's sweet. It's a Digital SLR, which is the best type of digital pro-sumerish camera out there.
this camera would be for pictures, we already have a video camera. THe most I would spend is 500 dollars... somwhere along there. Oh, and if you are going to give me like a whole list of cameras can you tell me why you picked each one??
When you really get past all the brands and the megapixels and zoom and the size, it's really just about what you like.
I just looked on bestbuy.com and in the 5 megapixel range there are several that look pretty good, and are in you price range.
Here's what you probably want in a camera:
5 megapixels (at least) Good optical zoom (10x or so)
After that it's just about the brand and what you like. As for brands, if you're going more pro, I'd look at Canon or Nikon, and if you just want a really good consumer digital camera than Kodak, Minolta, Olympus, Fugi, Canon, Nikon, or Sony would be good.
That was sure a mouthful. And you probably knew all of that already. haha.
yeah... I knew pretty much all of that ;) I haven't heard of all the different brands... but you're right, I've been looking at Kodak (not sony...) Olympus maybe, but the other ones I haven't looked at... but thnx... I'll have to go check those out.
i can't wait to travel again... for almost 2 weeks at the end of may! NA then i'm back here for a day, then i'm in Alberta for a five days... very busy little month... Kara comes up here shortly after i get back too!...
