There is way too much to write.

I don't think I'm the one to write all about NA. I think I would do a bad job of it. Either dams or josh should because they write far better long posts, and they probably remember more.

What I will do is post pictures as soon as I get them on the computer.

feeling very tired.

Less than two hours to till I leave.

Well, well/

Hmmmm.... as I sit here sipping orange juice, I'm a little shocked to realize that later on today I will be flying to louisville, and tomorrow morning sometime I'll be at NA. I ate a lot of candy tonight. My teeth are probably rotting as I type. I don't like going to the dentist.

And did you know that somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly?

I wish I could.

ahaha.

I wonder if coffee is really a master plan devised by the Communists to take over the democratic world. At least I don't drink it so when everyone else is being corrupted, I can escape and live for two years under the park behind my house, and dig elaborate tunnels leading to New York city (because that's where dramatic things always happen), and burst out and turn the world back to democracy and throw the communists out of power.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
]

I deduce from the length of that laugh that it's time for sleep.
To all you going to NA, see you tomorrow, and to all you who aren't, Goodnight.

So those are some random pictures.
Very random.

And dams, why doesn't your blog work?
Did you pull a josh and change the URL?

Job interview tomorrow morning at a web design company that a few guys from the church work at. I don't know anything about web design.....but if it's what is right for right now, it'll happen.

out.

P.S.

Sometime tomorrow when I have a few moments to think I'll try to write a good post.
Sam, Josh, and I are going to a mining museum today.

I'm not sure why..... I don't really love small dark spaces anyway.
sara groves-

this is my story, this is my song,
the theme of the story, I've heard for so long,
God has been faithful, he will be again,
His loving compassion, it knows no end,
all I have need of, his hand will provide,
He's always been faithful to me.

Gooooooooooood song.
very good.

Good night.
go look at the stars.

It's been a while since I got lost.

But I got lost today.

And now I need to sleep.

Thursday, May 18, 2006

I drove pam to work last night at 11:00.
Then I came home and stayed up too late reading.
Then I visited dreamland.
Then I woke up at six thirty.
Then I picked pam up from work at seven.
Then I went to the skatepark with sam.
Then I dropped him off at grandmother's house.
Then I dropped als off at the mall.
Then I came home and edited for an hour.
Then I drove back to the mall and picked als up.
Then I ate lunch.
Then I drove pam to the ferry.
And I just got back.

I somehow feel like a cabbie.
And I'm tired.

the Red Army plays tonight.

Sunday was a warm and sunny day.
Here's a few pictures.

Interesting things that have happened of late:

I played acoustic guitar on sunday.
I watched the oilers crush the sharks later that evening.
I can now walk without crutches. It hurts like crazy and I have a bit of a limp, but I'm so sick of crutches that the pain is really not too concerning.
I got a crazy punk-army-blazer-coat thing. it's sweet.
I'm going out now.

agnowlenomedria.

Beauty in the Broken-Starfield.

Good tunes.

Feeling very tired right about now.

Off to church.

Friday, May 12, 2006

And now it's time for a new post.

So.....

I have a pretty busy weekend.

Josh and I got a new/old acoustic guitar. it has a great semi-ghetto look, but it sounds really nice.

I'm teaching guitar now, as well as learning it (mostly at the request of my teacher), so I was teaching yesterday.

I got a sweet cane yesterday. I'll probably have it at NA because although I can walk without a cane or crutch or anything now, it's generally pretty painful, and I'm really unstable because the muscles haven't strengthened up enough yet, and because if I have to walk far, it begins to hurt even more.

Tonight is bowling.

Tomorrow has lots of things.

So.......

out.

OK. I'm trying again.

hahah; after all that I should have just dumped the whole photo library on here.

It's a very random selection.

Tuesday, May 09, 2006

I have a bunch of pictures to post but they're on the other computer......

ok. fine. I'll go get them.

........

They didn't work.

I'll try again in a few..

Monday, May 08, 2006

Well.
It's been a few days.
I haven't posted.
I was hardly at home for an hour yesterday, so I have a pretty good excuse.

I still don't know what to write.
Tonight is going to be busy.
I have a guitar lesson, josh has a soccer game, and then of course, 24 is on.
You can laugh at the fact that a tv show is such a necessity for the night, but it's the only one I consistently watch so and it's only on once a week so it's pretty much set in stone that I have to be home to watch it on monday.
I have to see how Jack dodges missiles with a passenger plane tonight.

I was also supposed to have physio today, but couldn't because there was no one that could give me a ride. believe me, I'm not sad about that either.

WELL YOU"RE NOT HARD COOOOOOORRRRE!!!!\\UNLESS YOU LIVE HARD COOOOOOORRREE!!!!!!
BUT THE LEGEND OF THE RENT WAS WAY HARD COOOOOOORRRREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!>

well, that was random.
ok.
I need to eat some food.

and one picturator to finish it off.

or not.
out.
pictures will come later.

I have to do a good post sometime, but my brain isn't working that well today, and nothing interesting has happened.
my three favorite russian words.

Friday, May 05, 2006

Sorry, no good post tonight.
I'm going to watch a National Geographic movie about sharks while I fall asleep.

Watson: So you didn't know that the earth rotates around the sun?

Sherlock: No, but now that I do I'll do my best to forget it.
I went to physiotherapy yesterday....they moved my foot. It was painful.
Because the splint that it was stuck in for 3 weeks had my foot pointed down, and not at a right angle with the ground, my foot was so stuck in that position that they couldn't push it to a right angle. It was crazy. But now with the crutches I can put put a tiny bit of weight on it. Well at least I could yesterday. Today it's so sore that I can't do very much. Hopefully I'll be able to walk by the time NA comes, but it's possible I might still need one crutch.

I'll try to do a good deep post later.

Thursday, May 04, 2006

Here's a few guitars I wouldn't mind having.

If only they didn't cost money.

My sister's Yorkshire Terrier is sitting on my lap right now.
I've decidedly decided that I want a Bull Mastiff.
They're huge and fat and stupid and funny, and supposedly very nice dogs.

I was at starbucks tonight at a very encouraging meeting (not drinking coffee) and I saw one. from then on my mind was made up.

And I'll name him Fredrick.

Tuesday, May 02, 2006

I've had a bunch of deep ideas swirling around in my head for the last 30 minutes.

for instance take this question:

what is light?

----------------------------

it's easy to brush it to the side and say, "well it's light obviously", but that is simply what we call it because we don't know what it really is. what is it's substance? how does it move?

or try shining a flashlight on your hand from about a foot away. when you turn it on, something is flying at your hand at the speed of light and crashing into it (notice it can't actually go through), and you don't feel a thing except possibly (if you're holding it a bit too close) a little heat.

but what if a baseball hit you in the gut while traveling at the speed of light? You'd have a perfectly round whole right through you and the ball wouldn't have slowed down too much. so what is different about light? size obviously and weight, but if you say that, then you are acknowledging light to be a particle, which is possible, but slightly far-fetched.

for instance, if light is a particle, and it is shooting out of the sun and out of light bulbs and everything else, what kind of particle is it, and how does it "shoot"? Is it the extreme heat that causes atoms to disconnect from their molecules? Is that the explanation for the heat we feel? Trillions of blazing hot (yet ridiculously miniscule) atoms crashing into our skin? That is certainly one explanation, but what about the sun and the stars? How could atoms that are shot out of the sun travel the hundreds of thousands of miles through ice cold space and reach earth still blazing hot? Again we can point out that the size and temperature of the sun is many times that of the coil in a light bulb, but probability stands against it. Even though the sun could torch those atoms until their electrons were orbiting the nucleus at incalculable speeds, and then I'm sure project them at a far higher speed, the distance is huge, and i doubt that they would still carry heat if they reached us at all. Although if they do reach us, I wonder if that's where dust comes from? all the little particles of light now burnt out.

But if we decide that the Particle Theory is off base, then what is light? Maybe it is a wave, like sound, except that it is such a high frequency that our ears can't detect it, but our eyes can see it? That would explain how it can travel vast distances through space and not be "extinguished" as it were, and anyone who has put their hand near a large sub woofer knows that sound can be detected by our sensory nerves, so why couldn't (at a far higher frequency) we perceive light waves with our eyes, and identify them as heat when they are in abundance?

But that is also nothing but speculation, with no (current) possible way of proving or disproving either theory. In fact maybe light is something that we haven't thought up yet, and perhaps maybe we never will, but when you look deep enough it makes you look up in amazement and wonder that He created the light, and knows it well.

outs.

you should see the stars tonight
how they shimmer shine so bright
against the black they look so white
coming down from such a height
to reach me now, reach me now

you should see the moon in the flight
cutting across the misty night
softly dancing in sunshine
reflections of this light
reach me now, you reach me now

and how could such a thing
shine its light on me
and make everything beautiful again

and you should feel the sun in the spring
coming out after a rain
suddenly all is green
sunshine on everything
i can feel it now, i feel you now

and how could such a thing
shine its light on me
and make everything beautiful

and you should hear the angels sing
all gathered round their king
more beautiful than you could dream
i've been quietly listening
you can hear 'em now, i hear em now

and how could such a king
shine His light on me
and make everything beautiful again.
