Still Crutching.

Easter Production to film tonight. I had to end up training an apprentice to shoot the moving shots because I'm gimped and can't get around much faster than a turtle who's torn his ACL. Then I have a wedding to shoot saturday. Then church on Sunday.
Then hopefully on monday I'll get back to the doc to see what's going on. I should have taken a picture of it when i took the splint off this morning. It was huge. Kind of like when Joby was blowing up those rubber gloves, except my foot isn't rubber.

It's crazy how hard it is to just get around. I don't really like it. for instance, if am in my room (in the basement), and I want to get something upstairs, it takes a good ten minutes. AAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh well. I have to chill today. I've been working it too hard.

outs.

My mom sprained her toe but now we think that it is broken.

Ouch.

Tell her that I hope it gets better, because having anything messed up on your foot really stinks.

My friend rach just rolled her ankle really really bad (she was on crutches for a while) but I mean, she sprains her ankle all the time, and this was the worst I've ever seen it. randomness.
Hop you feel better joe!

I think my mom is at the hospital now. She is supposed to get it x-rayed.

I've sprained my ankle skateboarding before, and this feels different than a sprain.

The fact that it's still really swollen and hurting makes me think that it could be a break.

ahhh... that would be awful! If you can move your toes then you know it's probably not broken... 'casue rach thought that might have been the problem except for that. Her foot was incredbily swollen... it was bad. Hope your foot's not broken though... that wouldn't be cool.

I can definitely move my toes.
And I've heard that if you move your toes it's probably a sprain, but the part that would be broken is actually on the leg bone; it's not a part of the actual foot, so why would it effect my toes?

I've also heard that sprains take longer to heal completely, unlike breaks which, once you take off the cast, are healed fine.

But it's really God's kindness to be doing this right now because I'm absolutely swamped with video work, and I would have been in a tight place trying to balance between regular work and all this editing stuff.

here's what's on the plate listed by level of importance:

El Paso wedding. (edit)
The wedding I'm shooting tonight. (shoot and edit)
Easter play. (edit)
Missions Footage. (edit)

and possibly a slideshow or two.

And on top of all that there's my guitar lessons, and I might soon be teaching guitar lessons for a couple kids from church.

haha.

This isn't grumbling.
I'm just very busy.
So it's nice that I don't have to spend 8 hours a day at another job.

wow. that was sure long winded.

a broken bone in your leg that's affecting your foot? Ok.
