what do you find your identity in?
how do you try to define your identity?

your influences.
your experiences.
your life goals.

who you are is who you are.

there is a vitality, a quickening, an energy that is translated through you into action and because there is only one of you in all time, it is unique and if you block it, it will be lost and the world will never have it.

That's really over the top.

my identity is defined by the fact that i'm a sinner deserving of hell who has been saved by the grace of God. making me a sinner who stands in Christ's righteousness and has the hope of heaven.
at least, that's what i try for.

if i get all caught up in "my identity" it usually feeds self-centeredness and pride. i wish i could always be defined as sombody who lives to serve God and glorify Him. sadly, it's not always the case.
some of my thoughts. but i'm still in upward-washout from playing intense frisbee games and not sleeping for 4days. so it's probably a little whacked.
haha.
